i had many assamese friends who were my roomates also when i was studying in bangalore and i heard one of his song 'ahe bana'from his album pakhi. and loved that song like anything, even tho i still understand fully what it means and luckily i got it downloaded off the internet from cool-goose. 3 cheers budy. try to sing its hindi version with the same music beats. good luck bhanoo
Thanx Zubin for the wonderful song, "YA ALI". Bohut bhal gaisa tumi. We all believe in you and your voice & we know u will make it big in Bollywood. I think the time has come ppl outside northeast stop thinking about assam as a place full of jungle and terrorism. someone aptly said, "bukatai podum phule". All the very best, Zubin.
Gangster is one of the most amazing films i've ever seen esp in the recent times....i went for its show today n ended up watching it twice on the same day itself withouht getting bored!its that nice...everything is excellent...frm the actors(emraan hashmi, shiney ahuja and kangana) to the music to the direction....locales of seoul....everything is just ultimate.Shiney ahuja and kangana have done their part extrmemly well.even emraan hashmi for that matter is great.KUDOS to the director and the whole unit!very very nice......
However the song Ya Ali - doesn't seem to be a full copy of 'Ya Ghali' and it obviously sounded much superior.
I see Ptritam giving a debut solo run to Zubin Garg - an Assamese legend (yet to make a mark except a few corus participations in file Kaante with the lkes of Shan and others) in this number. With this one going on top already he shares the moment of glory and spotlight as well. So Pritam sharing the glory alone is probably not ture.
If Tagore can steal from West, what's wrong with Pritam ?
