i don't get it. i never thought of himesh as a high rank musician like rehman. i thought he was like average, money here music here who gives music to almost every movie. i mean like anu malik. if you look at it. his beats matches all the time. like kubaku from dil mange more, is same as dil ki nazar from main pyaar kyun kiya. trust me i have a lot of example. he is not rehman.
Himesh reshammiya is credited and talented singer. Though he debuted himself as a music composer in the industry, he sings good too. Even now his songs echoes into ears. But he needs to take a break for couple of months wrt singing. Too much is too bad nowadays.
I think that Himesh Reshamiya is a quality music director who has given many melodious as well as fast numbers to our music industry. But, I'm really doubtful about his singing abilities. He doesn't have a soothing voice (like Kunal Ganjawala, for example) which is very essential for a good singer. His high-pitched nasal voice may be a suitable for a few songs such as aashiq banaya or aapki kashish, but just because he has a high-pitched voice, he should not tailor make every song to meet his voice, because thats when it gets repititive and starts to irritate people. Also, he should try to avoid acting in his music videos. I don't understand why all his music videos are based on the same theme (and same kind of beats). He should learn a lesson or two from artists like Sonu Nigam and Shaan who have a lot more variety in their music videos.
I am surprised to see so many people who does not like him...after seeing so many people out there I am not only one or may be one of few people who don't like his repetitive music & boring voice.. When I first heard him, I thought its different voice...but after seeing him in Sa re ga ma show and always singing only one song....I didn't understand why Zee TV selected him against other good music directors....he is not at all comparable to others on the show....he just had few hits...and the way he is going I don't think he will last long. I think its time for him to stop singing before people start kicking him....
