ravi
judges credibility ?
by ravi on Mar 16, 2006 05:31 PM

This drama puts credibility of judges. They agreed to the format at the start of the game.Right? They selected these fellows for audience. All we know this candidates are no better than Zee TV SAREGAMA Challange candidated. That program(Zee TV SAREGAMA Challange) looks more authentic.Sonu looks funny when he mimics of Udit Narayan in program ; better he must constrate on singing not on acting. Audience may favour their candidates.Everyone knows this. Why all this fuss??????

About people casting their votes.

The way the 3 judges namely sonu nigam, farah khan & anu malik left the stage was very bad example. When you are asking the whole country to cast vote then why their is so fuss. These 3 judges think they are the best. They must be daydreaming.

hai i just like only amey but when he was voted out i sweared i will stop watching indion idol. i am sure all this is preplanned.anuj or sandeep should have gone.the judges should select a few who were good and the othersshould be kept in the danger zone.the competition must be beyween the people in the danger zone this would have helped amey stay in

How do you know there is no difference in regions in USA, there are
differences, I think the format is wrong, not for Indida only but also
for any other country because in US there are people who do not
know anything other than there field. So don't blame everything on a
country.

The judges of Indian Idol should be fined for walking out after the finalized was declared. It shows how immatured and superficial they are.

Why have a public vote competition if you can't handle it.

Amey has taken the decision in the right sprit hats off to him. As for the judges , we are better off without them.

Kuntak Nag
Indian Idol....
by Kuntak Nag on Mar 16, 2006 04:55 PM

Dear Sir,

It is very UNFORTUNATE that Ameya Date is out of the competition. It is the rule of the format / programme that 1 will win and the other will lose. But the way the Judges r behaving is truly bad. It seems that there is favourism and lobbying going on with performers. There are many singers who are out of the competition who are very very talented like Ameya Date, Antara etc. Plz dont do lobbying with the singers. We want fair show plz..

Thanking you,

Kuntak Nag.

Indian IDOL

These so called reality talent contests have proved just one thing that the lacs of Indians who voted are either tone deaf or their knowledge of music is dismal to the point of being moronic. The real winners here are the tv channels and the cellphone companies smugly laughing their way to the bank and the loser is MUSIC. So much for public voting.Indian Idol can never have intelligent music oriented voting like American Idol because people here are voting for regions and not for music.GOD save MUSIC

It is very sad
by A Nagendra Prasad on Mar 16, 2006 04:51 PM

It is very unfortunate the amey is out on tuesday. While We appreciate that all four are good singers, we have to choose out of them. People should vote based on the music rather than city, state etc.

Priyabrata Mandal
The format to be blamed
by Priyabrata Mandal on Mar 16, 2006 04:50 PM

We all were shocked to see Ameya out. I rank him no 2 after Karunya in this year's lot.

However, I cannot accept the judges behaviour in this episode. If the format asks for the contestant with the least vote should be out, he should be. Judges should be ready to accept any such things which may be out of their expectation. This may happen in any episode and to be fair with the competition, judges cannot walkout or ask for a repeat show in favour of any candidate, may it be the one which they feel the most deserving. Judges cannot be partial to any candidate. If things are as per the format and rule, they must accept that. Why didn't they walkout when other good candidates lost while someone poor than him/her was still in that competition? Example: Ravi should have been gone before any other candidate. Panna is much better than few left after him.How the other contestant would feel for the judge now?

All these need to be understood, especially by the judges. And the Sony authorities must make it clear to the judges. Else, format of GURUKUL is the best for the moment I feel.

AMEY you are our Indian Idol
by Selma on Mar 16, 2006 04:49 PM

Give us a Break..Judges walking out n reacting is all hogwash n fake. Sony says it has to go by audience poll then why did they recall Anuj when Jolly was asked to leave, here no poll was taken, Its simple if a female contestant goes out the othr female contestant who has high votes shud have been called not a male contestant.

Any one who has a ear for good music can say Anuj did nt sing well at all so how can one compare him to Amey?

Farah got Anuj in n praised him a lot, Sonu takes up for Karunya n Anu for Antara. Karunya definately sings well but looking at the voting pattern for Fix up i say he too will be voted out like Panna n Amey.

When all is fixed up whats all the hue n cry about after all Anuj was bought in illegally by the judges now why they repent. After all you will reap what you sow. Their mistake costed Amey who is a natural n good singer. We will suerly miss him n now the Indian Idol show has really no meaning at all.

All i can do is wish Amey the very best in life ahead. I sincerly request people not to vote n encourage such maddness lets Boycott this show.

AMEY we will suerly miss u n never forget u, These wishes r frm all ur fans in UAE

Well done Amaye Datte!!
by Ramadevi on Mar 16, 2006 04:40 PM

Hi Amaye & Sonuji, You both are great and absolutely right what you did yesterday. Sonuji being a great musician himself did the right thing of raising the question against Public votes. If this is what public wants then they have to vote Miss India contest not to any Musical Show like "Indian Idol". Amaye, you are a true musician and a great singer with golden voice. You are the next indian idol,so dont give up the hope!!! All the best! Ramadevi
