Priyadarshan

He is fantastic Director and what I like more abt him is that he excepts if the story is a copy unlike others. There was a time in Malayalam Movies with high quality comedy and priyan is trying to get the same glory for hindi viewers by remaking them.
Very Good Luck For the Director.

Good Movie

I think this time priyadarshan has given a hit film like HERA PHERI,HULCHUL,HUNGAMA and so on and not like KYU KI which indeed was a flop flim and I thought it went so because priyadarshan has taken KAREENA in the flim and she is such a bad actress that nobody will be willing to take KAREENA in the next Flim.I went to see KYU KI because of JAKIE dada SALMAN KHAN and RIMMY SEN who is quite a good actress than Kareena.

not as original as they claim
by meerapaul on Mar 09, 2006 02:33 PM

just a desi adaption of a not too well known movie made in the uk called 'waking ned' where an entire village gets embroiled in a number of comical escapades while the lottery inspector arrives to verify the identity of the winner.

still paresh rawal will do a good job.

Regarding remakes
by KG Anand on Mar 09, 2006 02:23 PM

Hi,

I love the comedies from Priyan... Just would like to point one of the things I noticed in the interview.

In one of the earlier questions, he mentions that he has given up remakes. But when asked about the current project, he again mentions - "It has been titled Chup Chup Ke and is a remake of a Malayalam film called Punjabi House" !!

In the same interview he is giving two contrasting views... Just wondering, whether I am reading it incorrectly or ??

Thanks,
Anand.

Priyan has copied this movie's story from 'Waking Ned Divine'. And he is claiming it to be his original !!!
