Walaikum Aslam. I used to watch the laughter challenge every night. I used to miss to fetch vegetable from the nearby vegetable market which is on Fridays. I have been watching the making of Rauf Lala ever since he appeared on stage on his maiden pewrformance. He has his words, postures, balancing etc. In fact, the credit entirely goes to his foster USTAD OMAR SHERIIF je, who I am sure might have tears of joy in his eyes when Rauf goes to seek his blessings. I have visited Pakistan and have widely travelled in Lahore, Islamabad, could not go to Rawalpindi. The people r so joyful, unbelieveable. I met a hawker- newspaper seller in Islamabad. He also maintained that life has to be joyful. On my quer, he simply replied ki hajoor aap bahut joke karte ho, wahan(in India) kya sare hi aap jaise mazak karte hein. I was in Holidaying in Holiday Inn, those days. The SHOWlife has to go on, late Shri Raj Kapoor jee said one day. I am glad that Rauf has Late Shri Mehmoodjee as his idol. It is a unique quality to make others laugh, which is gifted by ALLAH to a few one of them being RAUF LALA, of star one and only one.
