The christian community is unduly protesting against the screening of 'the da vinci code'which is a good movie.understandably the government of andhra pradesh is backing up the protests for its political interest.where are all these politicians when hindu sentiments are hurt?well, the andhra pradesh government is also monitoring a christian missionary activity in TIRUPATI which is a very sacred temple town of hindus.(is all this done to appease a certain community along with a try to please a lady politician who is also the party president of the ruling party of A.P.?)
Its a myth that in a democratic country like ours, we have the freedom to express our view points without inviting trouble! The tribal christian chief minister who was elected to uphold democratic values, has not even the seen the film and he endorses the views of a few handful of fundamentalists and then uses his position to misrepresent his personal regressive thinking as the Govt's view to impose a ban. We can experience 'Talibanisation' right here! What a blatant misuse of power!! WE SHOULD STONGLY PROTEST THIS AND NIP THIS AT BUD OR OUR CHILDREN WILL SUFFER!
As there is a lot of protests against this novel made film, I am strictly against it. This is a novel which should not be taken seriously and it doesnot hampers the reputation of the church which was trying to suppress this information from time immemorial. Hence, this is a novel which not only gives us interest but also has dramatically increased the tourist flow and also increased the limitations of our knowledge. So, we should not try to protest against a film which doesnot provoke all other Christian nation other than India. We also have to notice that this novel is a bestseller in the Newyork Times. So, we should forget all our anger against the film which only hampers the reputation of our nation rather than promoting it. Yes, this novel reveals some parts which is not mentioned in the Holy Bible, but we should also remember that bible is a book that has not came from the heaven through fax. It has consequently been edited and reeditedthrough all the years to show that Christ is a person apart from human being. Remember histroy is the story written by victorious persons whether it is a true document or a false.
