Its interesting to know that Raj kumar Santoshi is planning to make a film on Ramayan and bring the character of Lord Ram on the silver screen.Seeing the great work that he has done in the past ( The Legend of Bhagat Singh, Khakee, Ghayal, Damini,Lajja etc), he will surely do a great job . Now comes the task of casting. I think Hrithik with his looks is too westernised to play RAM. Also he's youthful and has a light hearted image. Aamir is a very versatile actor but he doesn't have the height and body needed to play the role. Shahrukh is too romantic to play Ram. Ram had a strong,intense character who was a leader to his people, a strong King with principles and also some one who could devise strategies to win a War. Also Ram had a dark complexion. I think Ajay Devgan would be the suitable actor to play Lord Ram as he has the personality, intensity and talent to play the role. Also he has dark complexion. The only thing he needs to work on is his body bcoz despite being a great action hero he has never had a muscular body. The other choices- Sita- Aishwarya/Amisha/Bhumika Chawla, Laxman- Abhishek, Dasarath- Amitabh, Ravan- Sanjay Dutt, Hanuman- Suniel Shetty.Its a dream cast.
i think these artist should play this roles. Ram-hrithik roshan,Laxman-abhishek bachhan,Bharat-zayeed khan,Satrughan-sharmaan joshi,Sita-rani mukherjee,Dashrat-amitabh bachhan,Hanuman-paresh rawal,Ravana-rahul dev,Meghnath-john abaraham,Kumbakaran-anil kapoor,vibishan-Bobby doel.
Why all are looking for HRITHIK, there is a talented guy called SURYA in tamil industry.He is good looking and can do any role and he can do magics if given a chance to play as RAM. SEETHA can be VIDHYA BALAN and RAVANA none other than the one and only great MOHAN LAL, HANUMAN can be played by KAMAL HAASAN, (one should refer his postures in aalavandhaan, abhay in hindi if u doubt why I say this).
