Superman 2
by jalpa on Jun 26, 2006 07:02 AM

There are already 4 Supermans movies starring Christopher Reeve. Looks like you are confusing the numbers. Superman Returns would be movie number 5. Just as Star Wars with Luke Skywalker is now Star Wars IV
Also the sub par plot of Superman II was completely overshadowed by the superb special effects of the battle between the Man of Steel and his Enenmies from Krypton.
That battle is one of the major Highlights of that movie.

I am big fan of superman 1, 2,3 and beleive me we have a part 4 also....:) all starring christopher reeve...dunno if part 4 ever made it to Indian audience...but part 4 is called global peace where superman with consent from all leaders throws all possible nuclear missle in the earth 2 space and our evil lex luthor (great gene hackman) uses supermans hair (which he finds in a museam) to clone and make a fellow who has powers as equal to superman...except that if there is no sunlight this fellow is useles...awaiting the new superman 5 (2006) version....looks cool...

Superman III?
by Nikhil Gangavane on Jun 18, 2006 03:38 PM

I dont know why is rediff hiring knowledgeless people to write reviews of such all time important topics like superman. This cannot be superman III because superman already have had 4 sequels earlier all available on Warner Bros and starring Christopher Reeve. Watch out for such silly journalists!

Christopher Reeve Not 'Reeves'!
by Saurabh Sharma on Jun 16, 2006 03:30 PM

I would like to bring to the notice of the critic- Mr. Raja Sen that he has been wrongly writing the name Christopher Reeves rather than the actual Reeve. Please rectify this mistake, as it is very hard for a loyal Superman fan to see the mistake repeated, Sure, a Reeves too has played Superman but it was George Reeves in the 1950s and it was not the movie but the television show- The Adventures of Superman- where he donned the red cape. Kindly keep this in mind for future write ups.
