Coming to the second basis...media coverage...okay guys...do u even know wot kind of list we are talking about...its a HUGE list...the most powerful celebrities in the WORLD...not india...so how does one expect kamal hasan to show up on the list ! lolz
Some people dont even know the amount of media coverage someone like tom cruise or U2 has...its a WORLDWIDE media coverage...the biggest GLOBAL channels regularly cover them...and all the local channels in virtually any country of the world...be it pakistan...also cover them
They'r known to the WORLD...they have wot is technically known as the 'GLOBAL FAME'...not like kamal hasan...who is known in india or someplaces across the border and thats it...therez a whole world out there...australia...canada...america...mexico...germany...england...turkey...russia...china...japan...hellthe list goes on !!
then there are international magazines...everything...these are local celebs ppl...unknown outside...they'r nothing...its even sin to compare them with hollywood biggies...the whole world and money goes around them
So until next time...those who complain of seeing amitabh bachan or rajnikath on the list..wait for an indian list!

This list is compiled based on TWO very genuine reasons...one is money which highly determines a celebrity's status...the second is media coverage which again highly determines the status of a celebrity...basically it shows his demand to the WORLD...NOT to india...TO THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD
If we first come to money...any indian actor...be it amitabh bachan or aishwariya...make absolute shit money when compared to tom cruise or steven spielberg...there is so hell of a money difference...its like comparing a company's janitor's salary with its chairman...literally ppl like tom cruise make hundereds of times more than amitabh bachan or aishwariya rai...its really funny to even compare !!
Okay PPL!!! I agree actors like Rajnikanth and Kamal Hassan are highly influential. But it is a global list compiled by FORBES magazine. There is huge world out there that has no idea about our actors. But i must agree with one of the comments that the inclusion of 50 Cent is shockin.
This really makes no sense !!! RajniKanth should be in the list for sure.... How and in what basis are these people listed in the race ???? Ofcourse.... some of them really deserve to be.... and few more people i don think should be !!!

Rajni Babu has fan following in Tamil Naidu. None of the other states (even southern states) could care less about him. Bacchan has a fan following primarily amongst non-South Indians. None of them have an universal appeal like Tom Cruise. So, they don;t feature in this survey, as simple as that.
