The original Hera Pheri was not that original after all. It is remake of a Tamil film starring Prabhu and Revathi. But the Hindi remake was good, I must admit. Most Priyadarshan's movies have borrowed the main storyline from a South Indian movie or lifted it direclty from English. One of his recent movies (I can't recall the name, but it is the one with the lottery ticket) is a remake of 'Waking Ned Divine'.
Hey Raja Sen.. A few weeks back I did criticise u for the really over-critical review for 36 China Town.. but this time.. every word of ur review is spot on! Gotta hand it to ya.. wish I had read this before watching the movie though :-/ Anyways.. folks.. he's got it absolutely right this time.. u would probably wanna watch it on VCD/DVD rather than the theatre.. (u have the option fast forward and volume control in them.. will come in very useful.. trust me ;)

they give good reviews only for srk karan johar and yash chopra movies and ofcourse all hollywood movies even if it is crappiest.
Has rediff.com ever given a good review for any movie? which ever movie review you do u say its Bad, Awfull..etc etc and ask people not to see the movie!!!
for the review.. if they have tried to tocu lock,stock and two... hehehe what can i say.. bloody desi morons!! but anyways for the reviewer, u said superb direction in garam masala???? what was that?? are u a moron urself ??? it was a low level comedy (how can u even call it comic).. priyadarshan died with hera pheri.. he has made shit movies after that.. and if garam masala was by him, then god save the world !!!
All I could do, throughout the movie was feel sad for Lock Stock. This movie was disgusting, and the absolute mindless saga at the end was the clincher. I just went to the movie with two other friends, and the way they were raving about it (they have seen Lock stock too), I was beginning to wonder if something was wrong with me.
I dont agree with your review. I used take the reviews seriously but phir hera pheri was a nice movie to watch with the family . it isx one of the ebst movies we had thesedays and rediff is giving one of worst movies.
I started reading the review and was very disappointed thinking that Phir Hera Pheri(PHP) is really bad. But then I see you praising Garam Masala and I think.. wait a minute.. if you think a crapy movie like Garam Masala is good, maybe your opinion about PHP does not matter.
You got it wrong again bro. Now I am convinced you are in the wrong trage. A Tarantino fan does not necessarily a good critic make. You can try playng Copperhead, how's that? One good thing is now that you have given Phir Hera Pheri a bad review, everyone knows it's a great movie! Sarkar, Fanaa and now PHP... you are on a roll baby... what about a film appreciation course???
