So Rediff tries all tricks in its bag to retain readership?! I've been an avid Rediff reader since 1996/7. I've gradually replaced my need to read any other Indian publication at all. I go to Hindustan Times and all I find is sleaze and sickening pop-ups, I go to Samachar or Times of India and all I find is clutter. I had come to appreciate Rediff for the simple interface and lack of pop-ups. Over a period of time, you have resorted to all kinds of tricks and sleaze yourself. I still come here as result of 10 years of habit. There are still a couple of columnists like T.V.R Shenoy, Sai and Rajiv that I look forward to read, not to forget Claude Arpi and Gautier. But I don't know how long before I get sick of finding content amidst all the sleaze and clutter.
