I hold Ms. Suhassini in high respect because of her straight forward and no-nonsense nature and for her reel and real life personality. She stands among the actresses of four languages on account of her innate talent and histrionic abilities. However I feel grieved about her endorsement of a product she knows little about. In the commercial about bournvita she reels of parrot like what the sponsors have to say without realising that she is endorsing a product with little knowledge about it. if it were to be any other actor iwould have ignored the commercial. since it features Ms. Suhasini Iam compelled to record my feelings. For one thing neither She nor her family drink Bournvita (Remember LUX Soap endorsements by erstwhile actresses). Secondly I want to know how she has verified the so called facts about Bournvita she is reeling off. She talks of research, vitamins iron and what not. Thirdly, since the endorsement is by a famous and trustworthy actor Public belive it in toto.Such endorsements are being made by famous personalitie in every field. It is my conviction that such personalities who can mould public perception should not endorse products which they never use/consume, are fully convinced of the facts and figures they are quoting particularly involving so called research/ investigation etc. It is not that all products endorsed are not genuine but endorsements should not be made unless they are convined about the concerned product. There is no other director born yet or the Indian cinema history has'nt witnessed any refined director like Mani sir. Wow, what a class he is!!! I am proud about being born in the same land (Tamil Nadu) as Mani sir. I recently read a article stating that Mani Ratnam has plans to caste his wife in his upcoming project Ravana, which he had never done in their 2 decades of married life.can you believe this !! in a society where everybody find a slightest opportunity to promote their entire family, Mani sir stands out so distinct:-) hats off sir.
