friends,have been readin messages that people support or hate shahrukh only because of communal reasons and not for talent.i believe that people have a right to choose their favourite,others should refrain from commenting on religion.this is entertainment.as far as the movie goes,Mr.Bachhan is BIG B and Mr.Khan though is a good actor(at times a glorified hammer)cannot fit in Big B's shoes.Amitji is acting personified and i feel that the actors capable of trying to reach him(i say trying) are Amir,Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar(if he does not shout)in terms of acting.shahrukh is good for mushy mushy movies with lots of colourful background to make up for lack of good acting.if one looks closely,Shahrukh's acting can be better compared to that of Mithunda and Sunnypaaji(both are again good actors,not making fun of them,just they have been typed into a category of movies made for front benchers in movie halls)

I completely agree that religion should not be a basis for us to rate the Bollywood actors and actresses that we so adore.
I, however, disagree with the list of actors you have provided - I think you have miss out Ajay Devgan - he is the only actor in the industry at the moment who doesn't need to speak to act, he can act with his eyes. And he is versatile, he has done all types of roles - romantic (PTHHT, HDDCS), comedy (Golmaal), serious (Zakhm), negative (Khakee) - the list goes on.
I honestly believe that AD is one of the most underrated actors in the industry.
I doubt if SRK as DON would be success story. But, you know because Farahan Akhatar is director, who looks promising now a days, may do some good thinking sitting with SRK and bring some creativity. Otherwise it's difficult. SRK is only fit for romantic roles who can perform nither a don nor a comic character like AB. It will be very challanging for him. I wonder how FA is making SRK to act !!!
i think priyanka chopra does not make a good combination with sharuk khan she looks much older than him. and she has no acting skills at all. she just a waste in the film, if the film is a sucess then it will be because of shahrukh khan and kareena and if a flop then because of priyanka chopra

DON was a classic film in itself. SRK can never match with Sr.Bachchan. He may have proved himself in Karan Johar and Yash Chopra films but he has a long way to go and match himself with Amitabh.
SRK has to prove that without Karan or Yash also he can act in films. All the major hits were with these 2 directors only. He has the same style in all the films. He tried to copy Rajesh Khanna in Kal Ho Na Ho but he couldn't even emote 1% of Rajesh Khanna. Anand has a strong impact in the people's mind.
SRK grow up and try to create your own style. never ever try to copy other established star's style.
