most convincing rumour is that Harry is a horcrux himself and would have to die to kill voldemort. perhaps he'd die and make voldemort a mortal man. he himself says to dumbledore in the first chapter of sixth book that 'i'd die if i had to and take him with me if i can manage that' !!!

According to you, If Harry is a Horcrux, then he would kill himself & make Voldemort a mortal man. My question to you is if he kills himself, then who would kill Voldemort? In my opinion, Harry is the only person who could kill Voldemort & also don't forget what Dumbledore said in the 6th Book. Dumbledore has said that "Even if all the Horcruxes are destroyed, it will take great skills to kill Voldemort & Harry is the only person who could do such becoz he has a greatest power within him,i.e,he could Love".
