AR Rahman has once again proved that no bollywood composer matched his genius in composing quality music. RDB rocks to the core and has a huge variety of songs composed with new musical arrangements. Rahman is truly the composer of the next generation. Thank you for providing such quality music!!!!!
I really have to admit that the music of this film is too good and it has gelled with the movie excellently. I really loved all the songs, but 'Roobaroo' and 'Tuu Hi Bataa' are the best of the lot.
I have also noticed one more thing that Rahman has always believed in talent and backed it, even for artists like Sadhana Sargam, Sukhwinder Singh, KK, Hariharan, Chitra, Madhushree etc., who kind of had sensational debuts, but disappeared soon afterwards until they were rediscovered by him. Hope his new find 'Naresh Iyer' does justice to his talents.
Keep it up and All the very best for the 'Lord Of the Rings' musical. ;)
I really loved the songs. I liked paathshalaa the most before watching the movie, but when I watched the movie Rubarooo stands out as a clear winner. At that situation in the movie Rubaroo.... just strikes inner chords of a person. The Daler song Rang de.. and the duet were absolute wonders too. Another series of great compositions by the maestro....
RDB is one of the finest compositions i have heard in recent times. In an era of crappy stuff flooding the market, it was good to hear such variety of music from the maestro. Just listening to the audio CD of RDB one may not like all the songs, but after watching the movie he can better appreciate the music. After Lagaan and Swadesh i think this is the only one where rahman has composed for a really heart touching movie. (Inspite of some good music Bose, Meenaxi, Rising, Boys, Anbe aruyire, Lakeer, Yuva have all flopped) I wish RDB great commercial success.
