I think the forte the movie "Chingari" is its music. "Dank Mare" subtly described musically the nuances of feminine libido, while Himani Kapoor's "Saiyanji" had depth and everyone you would expect of a trained classical voice. Keep it up.
Truly tasteless drivel of a conceited mind that has not done anything of note except malign others, perched in her ivory tower insular in her belief that her word is gospel. This review is a hatchet job on one of the most beautiful music albums of recent times. I was shocked to read that the track Jab Jab has been dealt with so unfairly. This song is a modern classic & considering the age of the singer Himani Kapoor is indeed a portend of her immense talent & range. Shame on you for so callously rejecting a masterly film album. Kudos to Mr. Adesh Shrivastava for a stellar soundtrack. I request all viewers of this message to buy the album post haste. Please do post your reviews after hearing the tracks Jab Jab , Dank Maare, Maa Kali etc.
It is difficult to understand what prompted Sukanya to write this article. Is she writting for the movie or she is judging the quality of the music. If she intends to write about the music, the music is very appropriate as per the story of the movie. The movie is based on a story and that too from a classic Bhupen Hazarika. And Sukanya must not forget that except Sunidhi Chauhan there is no well established singer in all the tracks. It\'s worth praisisng that Aadesh Shrivastava showed the courage to give oppurtunity to new singers like Himani and Rajeev. Himani\'s voice quality is too good in the song and she has been able to do more than justice. It\'s her first song and she has done extremely well. Definitely the expectations from Himani is very high considering her status in Sa re ga ma pa, and however she sings, we will expect some more.
