Well Deserved, modern historical movie
by L Nair, US on Feb 09, 2006 11:58 PM

The movie was well-made, well crafted. The onset look was simply superb. The narration of the story and script goes well hand in hand.
All the actors were best suited for the role, and they executed the job whole heartedly and sincerely.
In reality, many of us including me, as one being born in India havent seen the glory and beauty of India, New Delhi.

Aamir Khan as usual he delivers the best performance, also make available as the best supporter to the rest of the crew. He is truly talented, deserves a National award for this movie. So to speak of AK, I dont see this being made without AK.

As speaking of Director, he did a wonderful job. His direction, screenplay, and the utmost thing to bring the framework of great revolutionary and the present India was truly outstanding. For few moments I was connected (sucked in), felt these true leaders are not only revolutionary but real life heroes who happened us to lead the footsteps a freedom country.

The Director did his best job, have seen his AKS as well. To me, both the movies were great.
You make us feel proud after watching the movie, and the contribution and support is well deserved.

Mr Mehra, Is that you?
by Rajeev Tivari on Feb 07, 2006 01:50 PM

"Our Prime Minister, Dr Manmohan Singh, is something else altogether. He's a complete freak; such a modernistic, futuristic bloke with a great head on his shoulders. We have great thinkers now with A P J Abdul Kalam running the country. We have so many heroes outside the celluloid to look forward to. We have a great cricket team which can win the World Cup on their day. The whole Asian Diaspora has never been stronger. So we're all feeling proud to be citizens of this country.

It's a great period to just jump off the cliff and somebody will take care of you; or you'll learn how to fly anyway."

Are the above words by the storywriter of RDB? In which all the ministers are painted in the same hue-black. Otherwise, Why oppositopn or for that matter PM would not have taken care of the wayward Defence Minister?

Good to see that art is not imitating life...

Great article. Only a person like this kind of thought processing can give us a wonderful film like RDB to us. His contribution towards our nation is quite evident in the film itself.Only one thing you forgot to mention the greatest film maker of patrotic subjects our very own (Bharat kumar) manoj Kumar.

Hats of to you rakesh mehra.
