Hopeless review
by Subodh on Mar 07, 2006 04:47 PM

After Raja Sen's hopeless review of Sarkar, this ranks as No 2 in the worst review list. It looks the reviewer didn't understand the language of the movie. I have made it a point to watch the movie before the review after Raja Babu's review and I am glad I stuck to it. All the people in the theatre - in B'lore, not Mumbai - were enjoying the movie and there was a lot of laughter after some dialogues. Even in the second week, the movie was houseful in B'lore and rediff declares the movie as poor show. If it was a hit in Mumbai, could it flop in Mumbai ? Also unnecsaary criticism of Parineeta should have been avoided. That movie was far better than Paheli where only the review was readable ... It looks that if Shah Rukh is not starring in a movie, it is badly reviewed. Does Shah Rukh pay the reviewers or is he on the board of directors of rediff ???

Changing Lanes
by Sunil on Mar 06, 2006 05:50 PM

I don't know why this time our review writers could not find the hollywood movie from which this movie has been copied. The Hollywood movie is CHANGING LANES starring Ben Affleck and Samuel Jackson. But still I would say thw director has done a commendable job in scripting the movie according to Indian (rather I should say Mumbai) taste.

Nane Patekar is rocking whereas John Abraham is the wrong choice for the movie.
