what kind of cencorship is this ?
by kirtikumar on Mar 01, 2006 10:35 PM

I ve submitted a comment on a crash movie review on last Saturday but u ve not published it till date.

I cant understand what kind of censorship u r following. Crash is a disaster as far as term movie is concerned its a social documentary. I am keen observer of international cinema & as a individual hold a responsible position in a esteem media house.

From day one I appreciate rediffs grand entry into net journalism but the type of news reviews and censorship of comments I started loosing interest in ur portal.

Email me a concerned editorial department contact 7 his email I want to know whats d lgic behind d censorship.

I repeat my comment on crash & pl post it just dont mislead d people.

Comment:
This crash review is a major goof up, the whole movie is to talkative, the racism issue blown out of proportion, excellent cinematography by James Muro & editing by Hughes winborne are the only things worth credits. By attempting to say everything about race, Paul Haggis ultimately says nothing. Dont waste your time & money on this stupid stuff. Its nominated for Oscar for best picture category cant believe god save d Oscar.

Fantastic review in a long time. Thats exactly what a review should be, rather than just telling the story and commenting here and there. Venkat you are the best. From this day, I would depend on your reviews to watch or not watch a movie.

Guess Who?
A good review
by Guess Who? on Feb 27, 2006 01:49 PM

Hi,
A very interesting read from start to finish. Truly encapsulates the movie's essence without revealing too much. Wish other reviewers would follow your example...

I definitely want to watch the movie after reading this one.

Keep it coming!

very disturbing movie
by Amit on Feb 27, 2006 06:01 AM

Its an amazing account of how world lives in post 911 scenario and how things have changed for everyone...the racism is probably at its worst in USA and dillon/thandie episode plus the iranian shooting the hispanian episode touch our baisc human emotions at a very deep level.

Makes for a scary watch, even though it ends on a happier note for the feel good factor!

Hi Venkat,

Nice review. Thoughtful, and it also comes through that you have taken one point of view and sticks to it.
