I am probably the BIGGEST Feroz Khan fan that has ever lived. Now I am a medica student in Neurosurgery, nd I still watch Qurbani almost every other day since the age of 11 [now I am 36]. I has driven mywife mad. I have admired Mr. Khan's courage to produce movies that are so different from others. I have also liked Vinod Khanna throughout my life to the point that I named my own younger brother "Amar" from the film. It will be interesting to see another Qurbani. I tried it as a child with our home video camera and my friends. But, somehow I feel that the suave acting talent of Feroz is hard to beat [in the movie "Safar" also]. Vinod Khanna is also a legend in hs own way. The high tech film was very good for those days. I saw it several times in the theatre in Hyderabad on my summer vacation from the States. Fardeen mentioned in a movie magazine that Sholay and Qurbani are his two favourite movies. The Mercedes scene [Feroz] and Vinod's 2 scenes [the beach with Amrish Puri and the fight with Shakti Kapoor n the road] will be hard to challenge in the remake. But, I do wish Mr. Khan the best of luck and my goal is to go to Inia during a break from my surgeries duties & meet him.
yes ofcourse i wouldlik2 watch qurban again ....story based on friendship & sacrifice ... nowdays where u ll find such stories... it ll be amazing to watch fardeen,saif playing cameos $sultry priyanka playing zeenat's role...
If they have to remake this movie, let it be Junior B playing Rajesh, Fardheen Khan playing Amar, Priyanka Chopra is fine as Sheela, no problems with that at all. But who could possibly play Insp Amjadh Khan? Got it! Ajay Devgan. No one else. Id plump for Asish Vidhyarthi for Rakka (negotiable), Rekha as Princess Jwala and Dino Morea as Vikram Singh. But with all that, they'd still not come anywhere close to the original. Who will play Khan baba? That small but important role? And Joe and Mohan? They'll never recreate that time but its worth a try. Hope they wont let loose contaminants like Mallika Sherawat or Akshay Kumar.
Why Mr Firoz Khan wants to cast his dear son the roles which suited him more.Just look at fardeen,all the hits he has got is his cute boy image.Audience refuse to accept him as a tough,macho hero.Again he sdoing that.No wonder the film the is going to sink as previous Jaa nasheen.
