Rang De basanti
by Poonam Dayal on May 16, 2006 06:35 PM

Born and raised in Sweden it is little difficult to keep up with what is really happening in India, apart from the general knowledge of corruption, backstabbing and so on......but the RDB had left a track of something in me, in my heart and mind. I can't stop thinking about it. I have always discussed with friends that something should be done in India and its system. And best said.....as in the movie.....join politics, join the force...etc...make an uncorrupted stand! The movie is like a fresh wave of new thinking.....I can just feel that the movie has had a major impact on several people and I hope we all do something....

Frozen Blood ?
by chanakya on Feb 06, 2006 06:59 PM

There is so far not even a single incident of "rang de" throughout India.

Even a single incident would prove the success of this movie, which in fact is not a movie, but a movement.

When that will happen, this movie will be banned by the baagees currently belittling the shaashan of this great nation known as Bharat Varsh.

Thats what Nehru did to a patriotic party post indepence.

He got scared !

RDB Rocks
by Binesh Bharathan on Feb 02, 2006 07:56 PM

Time has come to say..bollywood rocks...After Dil Chahta Hai..yet another movie to be watched..kudos to Aamir, sidhu, kunal, soha for acting and rehman for his outstanding music.

A comparison of generation screened perfectly fine....the directors point of veiw has to be really appreciated and anyone can say 'ITS A MASTER PIECE'....a good teamwork.

The plus points are the music by rehman , cinematography well done, blend of youth perfectly screened and delivered. Rayesh u just rock...seniority shown by aamir..the script was original...great piece of work

The negatives are some scenes are sort of melodrama....choreograhpy for some good numbers were not appealing....should have done it better.....especially 'hey saala'.....

Negatives are always there but for.......Its A BLEND OF YOUTH...........Go watch it !!!!!!!!!!!

RDB is all about awakening...
by Manindra Mohan on Feb 02, 2006 10:20 AM

In ages comes a movie which forces you to think...to think about yourself, to think about the environment around you and of ways in which one can improve the other. RDB is just one such film. Its about the youth and their place in society. Aamir Khan has once again proved why other actors are dwarfs compared to him. He is completely supported in the dream run by Soha, Kunal, Sharman, Madhavan and not to forget the immensely talented and intense Siddharth the guy who has the courage to shoot down his father. The movie is simply splendid and Rakeysh Mehra deserves all credit for the tight screenplay and intensity in all the scenes. Was just glued to my seat for the 3 hours. And haven't been able to think anything else since watching RDB....And as Aamir ends it up.....Khoon Chala
