Good job Rediff. Trivial news draws in larger reader base allowing Real News to be provided to a Larger Audience.
by doesnotmatter on Dec 29, 2006 01:11 PM

I have seen some readers disappointed with Rediff reporting trivial matters, like Aishwarya visiting a Dargha for example. I am happy that readers realise this to be a trivial thing, and that this news is not important. But I would like to remind the readers that not every reader has the same enthusiasm to read news. Some are more intrested in sports, some in entertainment, and so on. If Rediff stops reporting on these subjects, it would lose considerable (not major though) audience, and Rediff needs as much audience as possible to stay in business. I think it is better for Rediff to report on everything, bringing in readers of diverse intrests, thereby Bringing Real News to a much larger reader base. As long as a balance is maintained between Real News and Trivial News, there is no reason to disapprove Rediff. I think this is true for any news agency or website. I will welcome any opinions on this perspective.

Leave her alone
by RUDRANSH on Dec 29, 2006 01:10 PM

What's going on with you guys, leave her alone. Its her personal life where she goes, whome she want to marry, for whome she si offering prayers. Please stop it. Just imagine, if someone starts poking in your like this how you will react?

I think rediff staff have gone crazy and i think they don't want to show anything other then Ash issues.

Least importance
by vignesh on Dec 29, 2006 01:09 PM

This matter in a world renowed portal rediff found to be very silly. Please avoid such unwanted matter atleast during the new era 2007. Post useful matters for our Indian citizens.

Ash visit
by vikram on Dec 29, 2006 01:06 PM

There are more demanding issues that need your attention rather than Ash visiting the Dargah. Rediff should not add to the junk of this kind that is already flodding aal over the print and electronic media. Please spare a thought for it.
