Priyadarshan's new film "Dhol" seems to be inspired(?) by another Malayalam block buster called "In Harihar Nagar" . The hit duo Siddiq-Lal were the writer-director for the original. They are behind the originals of Hulchul and Herapheri of the Priyan in Hindi .
The biggest advantage for keralites by having priyadarshan as leading director in hindi is that the whole india will realize how good the malayalam movies are, as he is remaking all the comedy hits from malayalam.
There was a time when Govinda had rather haughtily said that he would never act in a film where he may have to play second fiddle to any one else. I think Govinda plays the third-lead in this film. Time indeed is a great leveller but in Bollywood it happens real fast!
i think bhagam bhag will be run in all theatre successfully because of the comibation of akshay, govinda and all time favouirte Paresh rawal is the best combination in the film industry. the chemistry will be very good in three of them, and spectator will run to the theatre to the movies
and also after five years govinda is coming back to the film industry to the publice with generously commitement to his workship and hardship.
The song signal is at best bearable to hear. You rate it as though it rocks big time ?? And for Guru, the reviewer had given a rating of 3 stars. Rediff music reviews suck !
The king of remake Priyadarshan is back with another remake of a hit malayalam movie called "Mannar Mathai Speaking"...Is Priyadarshan trying to create some sort of records or what to enter the Guiness Book of World Records of making more remakes...!!!
Bhagam Bhag is actually supposed to be the original sequel to Hera Phera. Hera Phera was copied from the Malayalam movie Ramji Rao Speaking...the principal character in that movie was called Mannar Mathai...and the second part was Mannar Mathai Speaking...which is what is being remade in Hindi as Bhagam Bhaag...once u see the movie u will notice lots of similarities...and maybe tats the reason why Govinda is there in this movie instead of Sunil Shetty.
Normally I value the Rediff Movie Reviews quite highly. However after your raving reviews of Janee-maan I have down-graded your ability to review hindi movies. Janee-maan was an out-right crap movie and now I wont take your current high ratings for Bhagam Bagh seriously.
