Best of luck Shahrukh. No body expected that ur Don will be hit and will come over the old Don. But u have taken that challenge and proved that u are the best. and u will be the best.

Who told u that new Don was a hit n come over Old one. I think u dont see views of Trade Analyst. They said that the new Don collected money just because people were curious to see that how is it made. But after seeing every one disliked the movie. It wz the clear statements by Critics as well as public that the New Don is is Ok but not as magical & dominent as the old one. Don wz Amitabhs second big Hit after Zanjeer....he became bigger with this movie. Despite of new star Amitabh, Lack of Technology & lack of publicity movie became a Huge Hit. And plz note despite the involvment of a very successful star (Shahruk), polished looks, high technology & much hype new Don did not work as gud as the old one. Thats the POWER of Amitabh. Mind it. No comparison Please. Dont insult Amitabh bu comparing him with any lallu panju. Bye Amit

I watched both DON new one was better but still I will give upper hand to old one as that one was original New DON grossed 3 times more than its making price so it is a hit -Got it Mr. Pathak

it's a very very disgusting thing that we always compare the Shaharukh and Amit ji.I mean there is no comparision should be made. After watching DON(Remic) u can clarify that SRK can't do the acting of Amit ji. It's really impossible.
Its very easy to judge a person like SRK as he is not capable or he cant run the show like KBC as Big.B has left his mark of excellence.... but its very early to judge... what was Big.B when he signed for KBC, everybody thought that the show will be a big blunder... so i wish SRK all the Best and do what he had done in DON...
I never considered SRK as a good actor. He is an average actor and I dont think he can deliver performance with sick sense of humor. Mind well his statement "I am coming in to your bedrooms" there are 100 different ways to be witty but he found the ugliest. SRK's dialogue delivery is biggest let down, there is no power or weight in his words they are mere funny as a mimicry artist. To be a host one needs humbleness (which he doesnt have-a larger than life ego he has), statesman like mannerisms, smiling face (not cunning smile), authoritive voice etc. Star TV has taken predicted populist step after the denial of Big B. I was expecting them to take a bold step and popularize the show on the basis of content and not the host. However the most favorable factors for SRK are, blind fans and loyal media. Show may do better for one season.

KBC doubles Star Plus market share New Delhi, Jan. 23 (PTI): Shahrukh Khan seems to have worked wonders for Star Plus, as the Bollywood Superstar's first show of Kaun Banega Crorepati has doubled the channels market share.
The show opened with a market share of 24.36 per cent as compared to 12.4 per cent last Monday, according to figures provided by television rating company Audience Measurement and Analytics Ltd.
The channel's TRP ratings jumped to 91.5 per cent with about 1.3 million people watching the show on its first day, it said.
The ratings kept on increasing after each break and the last sequence got the highest ratings.
Source: The HINDU So all you "Critics" please shut up! SRK doesn't go around asking directors to give him roles played by Amitji or Dilip Kumar. The directors themselves think that it's only him who can match up to the charisma of an Amitabh bachhan or Dilip Kumar. Why are you all so negative, atleast the guy has guts to take on what others like Aamir or Hritik would tremble to do. He takes risks, he does not come from a film family, he's a self made man. He didn't have a Mansoor Khan as uncle to launch him in QSQT..he didn't have Amitji as a father to keep him alive in the industry for bloody 6 years till he found a hit. He didn't have papa Roshan to launch him in KNPH, or save him time n time again in KMG or Kkrish. And all you brain-less people who say he can only do love songs..have u forgotten Darr, Baazigar, Anjaam, Raam Jaane, Asoka, Swades, KHKN, DON..he was the one who made way for negative roles to eb actuallypopular in the film industry. He's the reason why Bollywood is truly international now. He's the most recognised Asian actor (second to Jackie Chan) in th whole world. He has 12 Filmfare Awards including 2 critics awards. He has a President's Outstanding Citizen Award, he even has a Padmashree!!! Do you guys even think before you start lambasting him? Or are you all just losers who just can';t comprehend how can an average guy like him, with no special looks or persona or a body liek Salamn or dancing skills like Hritik can be this Mega Successful and that makes you jealous of him. Amitji is a living legend, and Shahrukh is a legend in the making..plz don;t compare the two, and worse please don't insult someone who has done so much for the Indian Film industry(even you know it).If you don't like him, don't watch his movies, don;t watch him in KBC, but why all this utter onsense.

I totally agree with your opinion.I'd like to add Shah Rukh is at 41 what Amitabh achieved at 62!As far as KBC3 goes I think SRK is just too good and too entertaining while AB was just conducting the game. 05 Feb 2007. Dear Kumar: I agree with your opinion on SRK!A person who has no great looks- no height like AB, no voice like AB,a big nose and badly shaped eyebrows is a phenomenon! Surely it's his acting talent,his wit, his charisma and fan following!The diversity of roles he has played speaks volumes for his capabilities and I'm sure time will prove that KBC3 will be another feather in his cap.I wish him all success! Amitabh Ji ne agar mana kar diya to KBC ban hi nahi sakti.If he says I will not work in Movies hum movie dekha band kar dange nahi yaar give SRK, Aamir , Hritik these are good actor too
How bad is that?? How does evryone know it wont work or SRK wont work when it hasnt even started..Atleast give the man a chance..Who knows may be it will more popular than amitabh..or may be it wont..or may be it will SRK's worst mistake..
But atleast SRK has the guts to try it out..Rather than saying it wont work and sit at home..
I am sure it will be good...Who knows may be the best :-) Only time will tell...
