it is very rare to take a step an heavy personality in all countries and it is india that shri ustad ali khan with his shehnai. we are pound to be an indias with his memorable moments even some of them don't know about how much hard steps went back in his life. we only hear his smooth sound but not his hard steps in life. he received the awards and the audiance received more that that from his shehnai throughout india and abroad. he is such a personality, that when he went to united nations to perform his programme. when he was pereforming, one of the american asked him " why don;t you stay here in america " then our indian ustad relied him ," ok i will stay here but is it possbile to bring my kashi and ganga river here? " yes he was staying in a hundred year old house in kasi and that makes the place of attachement. so we indians make our soul pure without having any religious up and down caliculations. can anyone is there ? yes it is indians and one of the example is our shehnai speaks its ustad ali khan.
It is true. Infact, during the first two or three days, Ustad was unhappy with Dr. Rajkumar as Raj used to listen to the Shehnai and ask questions to him, which the geat Ustad did not like. However, after seeing the movie, he was so moved by the expressions of Raj that he was very happy with him. Raj had learnt the basics of Shehnai and even though he was not expert in that, he did not commit any mistakes while playing the Shehnai! We feel very sad at the passing of both Raj (the character of Sanadi Appanna) and Ustad (who was the soul of the movie). May Ustad be rest in peace.
