My heart broke at the end:( but overall very nice and warm movie..Total chic flick I would say.. i found myself smiling at times.. Abhay Deol was very natural..n Soha is one of my fav's.. they looked great together..
The movie as i would say is a very cute film. Imtiaz ali story screenplay is the best. the director rocks hats of to this hardworking newcomers. You guys deserve lots of luck and support for making many more films. Abhay deol is a great talent he is an natural star very rare quality. soha too is agreat find for our industry. Best scenes are the chemistry between khalla and abhay they are emotional as well as hilarious.
Ahista Ahista helps indian cinema come of age....Its altogether different from the kind od fairs that we are treated from Bollywood these days...Its quite but enchanting....its slow but worth the wait...Abhay and Soha did really well...It will not be a hit in anyways but its time people star giving dues to such movies...
How can you rate the worst movie ever to such a high rating. Can't find one good point in the whole movie. I went to see the movie just because of the review, I vow not to repeat this mistake.
I think in today's Stardom world this film made a great Impact on us, where no stars no great locations no Candyfloss we see, only nice & simple direction, beautifull acting, lovely songs & incident we face our day to day life has shown WORTH TO WATCH MOVIE
In the aura of Karan Johar's fanatics & Ramu's mirchis its really heartwarming to see a simple & effective film like Ahista Ahista.The level of hard work & paucity put in by the crew members to make the film different & asthetic one is praiseworthy.We the young genre are really forward to see films like this in future.Let's talk about the characters:the action played by the hero(Abhay Deol) is hearttouching and this film will put him in the league,we can see the replica of Sharmila Tagore in her daughter(soha)who can become the queen bee of bolywood with characters like this.Last but not the list Himesh Reshmiya is not fit for films like this,he best suits in Aksar.The music should have been a little deceptive.Overall Ahista Ahista is the film of 2006 so far.
Going by story I remember seeing exactly similar on starplus \\\"Star Bestseller\\\". Difference it was one hour show. I hope its not another \\\"Paheli\\\" where director expanded 30 minutes drama to 3 hours.
