Independence day parade

What were they thinking! Why invite someone from India? Werent there talented individuals who could lead the parade? If a movie actress is needed to gather the crowd for the nations independence parade, shame on the community.

Truth or Tantrums

What is the harassment we are talking about? Was she slapped or was she molested? Physical is different from sexual. Why didn't she complain to the police immediately? And if she didn't consider it police-worthy why did she deem the incident newsworthy and complain at length to the media?

Judge to probe Bipasha's claims
by labrea on Aug 15, 2006 10:58 PM

Whatever the truth of the matter, the fact is Indians are very childish and unprofessional, and the 'stars' are no exception. Bipasha claims that she could not show up for the parade after 'her experience'. I'm not trying to minimise or condone harrassment of any kind that may have occurred, but as a professional movie star whose 'profession' is 'acting', even after such an episode, it was incumbent on her to show up and 'act' as if nothing untoward had happened and done what she was contracted to do. Then, during or after the parade, she could have voiced her allegations or complaints, rather than making such a silly, childish spectacle of herself - DECORUM is such a totally alien concept to Indians.

Support for Bips
by divya goel on Aug 15, 2006 10:47 PM

I think she is honest. And i totally support her for whatever she has said upfrontly made public.

It is really difficult for a women to speak publicly about all these charges against her unless it is not true.
I totally agree with her and support her for the same.

Guilty or not Guilty
by Atul on Aug 15, 2006 10:38 PM

If there is any substance in Bipasha's allegations, then, the guilty must be punished. There can be no justification for harassing a person physically and mentally.
