KANK is the story about meaningless relationship betweeb the persons who are not know themselves fully so it possible that the persons are already personally confused about their personal life that how they can give support to each others it's a meaningless film .
For me KANK is nothing but a LESSON that never ever go for films just on the basis of hype being created by media! Karan miserably failed in justifying anything in this movie. He could neither prove Abhishek and Priety wrong nor Shahrukh and Rani right!! KANK is simply a bunch of mindless comedy and very stupid story. Thanks to Abhishek and Priety who were so well in the movie otherwise the film would have become a trauma for audiances.
i strongly feel sharukh shud do better roles.....n r film makers shud make better movies......WHICH CAN BE SEEN WITHOUT BORING THE DAYLIGHTS OUT OF YA...ppl [ film makers ] shud make movies like 'troy ' or 'lakshya'....but plz stop makin movies on a theme like love.......god we have better things to watch....
Hi, I had seen KANK the 2nd day itself... I have never been a fan of karan johar movies... I believe he is good music video director than a film director...yes...if you clearly observe the music in his movies and their videos have been a huge hit...he doesn't compromise on locations, lyrics, music directors,choreography,costumes,etc...... The film was nagging...i do accept its a bold and matured topic...but it should have been handled well. I still feel justification to rani's character is not done completely... Anyways this is my opinion
I have seen the movie and it is the worst analysis of a movie I have ever read. aseem referring NY city as 'our' is not only being utterly selfish but also shows his height of hyprocrisy..
wat does he want karan johar to do? make a movie on 'HIS' NY city???
instead of dwelling on the film's story and content, he talks of every other damn thing!!
i strongly recommend rediff, as its regular reader and well wisher, to FIRE Aseem as a film reviewer ASAP.
Do it NOW before it is too late when rediff's popularity touches a new nadir.
