this was an absolutely one of the worst films i ve ever seen. they have shown women as to be housewife only. well this is 2006 not 1980s. after watching this film i hope karan doesnt show preity as negative aspect in kank just because she is more carrer oreinated
Its a drama and not a comedy/ thriller/ action. In this context, the movie is alright. Although the story is not new, the presentation has some novelty. I liked the movie. So did many of my colleagues.
Coming back to reviewer's bias. She talks about giving tight slaps to a career girl. If the girl's reviews are like this, I certainly would.
It is a lovely movie all character did justic to role i feel shilpa & Salman should be considered for award for this movie , great job done salu & shilpa including shilpa mom & Shakti Kapoor & all .

Me too am a woman ... and my husband and in-laws r very supportive of my career .. I could not have asked for more .. but I still feel the director\'s opinion is very negative and prejudiced towards career women .. the movie should be boycotted ...
this is not a great movie. but, the rating is PREJUDICED .... this is a WOMAN-REVIEWER ..... of course, she is pissed off by what the director is trying to say (may be she can personally relate to this) ..... and when u r pissed off, u cannot do the rating without bias .... sorry about that .... i wonder what the rating would be if it was a male-reviewer ..... (not more than 2.5 i guess, anyway :-) neway, bad choice for a reviwer :-(
I think there is some problem with rediff reviwer..he doesn't like any movie..never seen a good review for any movie...he mantioned Phir hera Pheri as very bad..but it was not so at all..
This movie seems to be a remake of this terrible movie called Priyasakhi in Tamil (not sure if that was remade from somewhere else). The movie was awful in Tamil - why someone go through the effort of remaking that crappy movie is beyond me!
