As per the BO performance for past 2 years including this year,the list should be : 1.Akshay Kumar 2.Amitabh Bachchan 3.Aamir Khan 4.Hrithik 5.Abhishek Bachchan and Salman. This should be the top five. However for comming years Akshay,Hrithik,Ajay,Saif and Salman will remain at the top,Big B is in other bracket.SRK downfall will start from 2006 itself with Don.
i m really surprised by rediff reviews aksahy is is giving consistently hit movies than saif or SRK this man deserves top rank.He made everything from Zero. SRK is only restricted upto Romantic genre. but akshay has proved in all genres. Rediff bloggers think profoundly.
I dont know who wrote this piece on the top actors of 2006 but it has tons of discrepancies! So if you are going by 2005 you next to rearrange your category list!!
Now here you have a Superstar like Akshay Kumar who has given consistence hits for the last 3 to 4 years and you do not even mention him! Akshay Kumar always seems to be ignored in all star polls and box office marquee! Even this year he has given a Super hit with Phir Hera Pheri, and Humko Deewana Kar Gaye was excellent overseas!! Please keep your personal views that you may have towards him to the side! Why is he always being cast-out! And not given his dues! You are being bias towards one individual and this is not fair!!
For 2006 SRK has not release a single film! Paheli was old news...this year he has not even had a release. You put him in the number one slot. This is absurd!
Abhishek Bachchanlike you mentionedall he has done is flops and he is considered number two on your list! Till date he has not released a single film to be given a number two slot! Not to mention he is a horrible actor, cant dance! In fact, Ajay Devgan is a much better actor than he is and there is NO mention of him here!
Amir Khanonly had one film last year and it did not do well! This year I must say he has given two super hits and should be given credit shouldnt he be above SRK?
Salman Khanhad a medium run last year with the exception of No Entry! Keep in mind that Jaan-E-Mann is no Salman Khans film and Akshay Kumar is also in this film and there is no mention of him!
As per the two latterHrithik and Saif; Hrithik has not had a release for more that two years now his only release recently was Krish and it has done great! Saif, best film was Hum Tum in 2004 ancient history; Salaam Namaste 2005 was so so, and overseas it did much better nothing for this year! The other two were not received well at the box-office!!!
We his fans will always speak up for Akshay Kumar! Akshay Kumar deserves to be NUMERO UNO! His fans!!
