India is stupid with the north adn south division.. they let that close their eyes towards what was really the talent and that was KARUNYA.. and in life.. Karunya will go much much furthur than Sandeep.. for sure. Karunya has all that takes to be a successful person..
sandeep acharya is one of the best singers,our country has produced.it was a great joy to see sandeep being crowned the 2nd indian idol.i was quite relieved after his name was announced.he has once again proved himself with his debut album.wish him all the best for the future

Sadly,India does not recognise real talent and ability - be it sports, music, academics, politics or just about anything. It would be an insult to Karunya to compare him with Sandeep as far as Indian Idol 2 goes - there cannot be a second opinion about that. Those of you who think Sandeep deserved are either his relatives or close friends, or do not know anything about music. However, the point I am trying to make here is that the only people having the last laugh are Sony Entertainment TV who have made their millions from the sms business, by delving into the stupid emotional side of us Indians. By mixing singing with performance and looks and other on-screen so called parameters such as X-Factor,etc, quality is being compromised, and music is the victim. Look at Qazi and Ruprekha of FameGurukul for instance-they are a disgusting choice to be called FAME JODI. At the same time, we must not forget that they get what we give them. We give them importance by sending expensive sms, and they begin to think they are great. Let us be sensible and not be party to such flimsy shows thriving on emotions and making a mockery of real talent. Stop sending sms and making mockery of talent.
we, a family of music lovers knew that karunya would never win - because he was the best.i have followed all such shows &seen contestant like quazi winning itleaving behind shamit,arijit,arpita ;seen amit sana being defeated by avijit(he was painful in indian idol grnd finale);seen amey,minal,antara being ousted while anuj,sandeep stayed there.it is hightime the organisers change the format &show due respect to music. karunya is a rare talent&is far far ahead in his ability ,ease &versatality.he has not lost, the respect & essence of music was lost with the announcement of the disastrous result on22nd april.
