Well well well-why is it becoming our habit to criticize something that comes NOt from chopra-johar or verma stable. Do tell u the truth- I felt siskiyaan was not a bad film per se. See the context was very nice-it could have been a edge of seat thriller as vermas' KAUN, but to be sad neha is no urmila and so not sonu is manoj bajpai BUT BUT Sonu lends commendable performance as a doctor who seems psycho- BUT BUT go watch the movie for its Subtle humour and thrill. Sachin Khedekar if knows dancing can be new Rishi Kapoor as he is still comfortable with females younger than him, and Neha can be our own desi julia Roberts is hse smokes on screen as she does in this movie and yes SONu-u are no Amitabh-so stop dressing and trying acting like him. ***-watchable
I just saw Dansh over the weekend. Its about the trouble in MIzoram a couple of decades ago when the bamboo crop was ravaged by mice and this lead to famine there. This gave rise to militancy and separatist organisations due to government apathy.
Well the story here is the same. Even the rape scene with the female character blind folded and raped by the doctor is the same!!
Reading the review it is apparent that this film also bears the same story line as that of ''Dhansh''. I also recall a recent interview where Ms.Dhupia was bragging that this film will spark off a controvery-a healthy controversy that is(never knew a controversy can be healthy too)and a debate as to why her character is doing this and that. She is correct, the public who watchs this movie might ask why this film was ever made?
With ideas like 'Sex does but talent does not sell', the likes of Neha Dhupia are destined to be consigned to the dustbin. She is neither goodlooking nor talented. To sustain, one needs talent and a screen acceptability, just as Hema Malini has had and even now does.
