sounds a lot like the Denzel Washington starrer Man on Fire.... my prediction for the story line... the dad's corrupt... mom kills him towards the end... n AB of course saves the kid n dies in the process....
Thats not amitabh Im talking about. But, this first impression I got from rediff on ek ajnabee, tells me its a rip-off of the movie Man On Fire starring Denzel Washington in the same role as amitabh, hired to protect Dakota Fanning, a school-going kid, from getting kidnapped. And she changes his personality and gets gim more interested in life, until she is kidnapped and then, revenge...blah blah. will turn into standard hindi movie fare.
this is just another one of those in the long line of hollywood rip-offs pretending to be slick bollywood thrillers. this one (for few who don't know it yet) is Denzel's Man on fire. so much for that title card - "written & directed by..".
i'm a gr8 fan of amitabhji..i'll love to watch EK AJNABEE 1st day 1st show..its not the movie concept that drives me ..but how it has been implemented..
amitabh is one person who makes all indians very proud. some one we can boast about even abroad. his performance is amazing and very real. i guess its his will to do well that makes him do really well. i cried throughout black and i am not someone who cries while watching movies...
he is a winner . very few people can start from scratch at 60(all his probs with abcl) and he did that and he has just surpassed any actor...
Its a copy of Denzel Washington movie. Why cant bollywood come up with new concepts instead of copying movies from Hollywood.Who cares if Amitabh is acting or not, its all about the movie being original.
