Paheli's entry to oscars is a Paheli in itself. It's in the bad taste of selctors that such a movie made its way while more sensitive,entertaining movies like Page 3 or black couldnt
It seems the jury members were not bright enough to understand The movie BLACK ... and still want to potray the age old picture of India to the world ..colourful, folk tale....senseless, songs.....in other words PAHELI..
Hey guys!!! i think paheli is the right choice... i agree that black is a wonderful movie.. but it must be paheli for oscars.. think about crouching tiger hidden dragon which got oscars... well it sannot be said as an original movie .. it had many action sequences which is impossible to occur.. but even then it got the oscars... how?? it was because that, that movie contained some cultures and tradition of one nation.. and many local ideas...
now talking about our cinemas.. pahelicontains all this quality.. and dont be surprised when paheli moves to the final round...
Black should have been the one not paheli....In fact you can't even compare black with paheli.When u remember the former your mind is full with the content of having watched a beautiful film.but the latter was a waste...mere waste!!!
looks like nobody cares about india's prestige, coz blak is a xerox copy of a hollywood movie which won the oscars and according to others we wanna show the world what a copycat we are yea rite guys think again b4 opting for BLACK
