Happy to see Indian actresses getting the Global attention BUT VERY SAD to see the way they represent their home towns. Positive criticism is good but she is showing hatred towards her home town.
If Malika had some problem in her childhood, that certainly doesnt mean that each and every family in haryana is having similar problem. It is outrageous on her part to humiliate her motherland and her country on a global forum (CNN).
If she want to take public sympathy, she can always speak about her family, but dragging the whole state and the society there, is not called for.
If Malika is from Haryana, then Kalpana Chawala was also from Haryana, and so are many others. We have a very different and pleasant image of our motherland and are proud of being from Haryana.
Haryana in specific have no different social problem than the entire country.
