Why dont't our directors ever make "real" movies?I just had to watch the first few minutes of the film to think "what a waste!".Which RJ would openly ridicule one of her guests?I'm so fed up of Hindi movies. And it takes inspiration from "nine months" as well. All of our movies nowadays seem to be "inspired" from other english or indian movies. We are just fed up!What are directors coming to these days?
The only reason bollywood was flopping previously prior to lagan gadar times was that there was no variety in the movies. Even though lagaan, gadar was different, mangal pandey was different, and Kaal for that matter was different it was worth watching. Dil Chahtha hai is although a concept of "Reality Bites" is worth watching but not the shreiks of Preity in this movie. She wants to enact the same kinda scene of Lethal Weapon 4 of Rene Russo. Saif wants to do that guy in InnerSpace who cries while looking at the foetus of his baby inside the womb of his girl friend. Wake up bollywood, you guys are the best in the world. Give us some very very good stories. When was the last time anyone saw a movie that dares to teach someone to work hard after JJWS? Try imaginative, adventurous movies, art which has zing in it. Salaam Namaste concept if one sees also starts something similar from He Said She Said. either do it differently or mimic it in a more exciting manner. No Entry, Garam Masala, these movies are a literal remake. Them occupying top position says only one thing, Bollywood is not too well equipped.
javed jaffery was the best part of this movie. its was really unexpected from him. rest characters were ok. preity is looking old. saif acted the same way as he did in other movies. the theme is very bold. i think they should show movies which has some msg. i don't understand what they r trying to show or tell people with this movie. these kind of movies put bad influence on the people living in small cities.
i read the review of the movie in rediff and went to the movie with the great expectation, but later felt i really wasted my time and money by watching this movie. such a hopeless movie, it a remake of 9 months and the director takes the credit for him selves saying that he has made new story for the younger generation. only good performace was by javed bhai all other were simply waste. climax was horriable to watch, some of the ladies left the theatre by watching it. rediff pls don't be bias towards yash raj movies and write good reviews only for there banner movies.
hey the movie was gr8. though i thought tht the movie would be something like hum tum it wasnt it was not bad. saif was too good ans arshad and javed were really funny. even abhishek in the end was really sweet and cute. also i think the music rocked rediff is tooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo stupid to say tht the music was bad. the only onething tht didnt fit the role was preity zinta. i think she looked really old in the movie and neways she is 32 yrs old. her pregnant stomache looked soooooooooooooooooooooooo ugly god i really feel she could have done a much much much better job.i think they could have picked somebody much better for the role. otherwise the movie is ok and the only thing that rocked in the movie was SAIF. keep it up saif you are too good.
