hello shah rukh.... nice to here that i am able to write something for u and thanks rediff.com for doing this opportunity for us.... it was in the year 2003-04 i was in india at that time a state called gujarat (city-vadodara) as my grandfather who is the chief secretary to honorable Maharaja Sindhia (Gwalior)..... he told me that tomorrow SRK is going to come to gwalior for few hours and he is going to visit the Jay Vilas Palace of gwalior..... the day itself i took a flight from Vadodara to delhi and from there to gwalior as i reached home and i came to know from my grandmother that grandpaa is in office and SRK has arrived and is in the hotel and now he is going to come to palace..... i got ready put my best cloths and got ready.... as he arived i saw him and i got made that i am standing in front of a super star of bollywood and i was not beliving my eyes that i am standing in front of SRK..... as i was not able to take an autograph as there were many securities beside him...... but if rediff gives me a change to meet SRK again it would be a great hounour for me as now i am in singapore i request rediff to give this opportunity to me .... The king of Bollywood, as he is rightly referred as, turns 40 today. Starting his journey as a small screen actor(Fauji) he made a big leap in the bollywood. I personally think that he is the greatest romantic star ever, courtesy DDLJ. Though my favourite movie is Baazigar. This movie made him big in Bollywood. If Amitabh is the BIG B of all generations, Sharukh is the Badshah of this generation. Hats off Sharukh.
Shah rukh khan is a best actor of bollywood but he is choosing only branded yash raj, karan johar, amol palker etc's movies those film makers movies are just boring love stories, which are not the current audiences demand. Try to work in any of priyadarshan's, ram gopal verma's, those who makes movies for current audiences and 100% successful too, these days. Never work in movies like "PAHELI". I like earlier shah rukh not current as u become so bad choosy. Best wishes for new projects.

It was feb 2004 when we meet sharuk khan.we went in a marriage party in lucknow sahara.We saw him there but he was prody.i am very big fan but that day i felt very very unhappy because my thinking for sharuk khan was very diffrent but that day i felt very soory.i know he is a big star but humne unko itna bara star banaya woh kisisi se nahi mile .my sister is in canada her daughter was madley for sharuk khan from there she told me aunty plz take one photo and autografe but that day was very bad for me.
i remember the day when i was in eight standard and studying in kendriya vidyalaya, tughlakhabad, new delhi. shah ruk sister was my teacher, she was amna khan. the lady used to boost a lot about his brothers episodes coming in fauzi, those days. that time we were thinking that the lady is simply boosting and taking an edge of the name and telling people that he is her brother. but, one day she took me to her house and then i realised the truth and was very much excited to meet shah ruk at his home. but to surprise i never realised that time that student of political science to hit the stardom so vigoursly. and i would only be seeing him from the distance and be imagining the day whenever use to see his pictures or movies,
I was around 8 years when I saw Shahrukh on television in Fauji,Circus, Doosra Kewal. He looked dashing is Fauji. However in few of the movies I really didn't like him much. After Kabhie ha Kabhie Na and DDLJ I have been a die heart fan of him.
Although, I Live in Mumbai and have been near his residence quite often, I haven't yet got the opportunity to see him :(. It will be a dream come true if I can meet him personally. I thank Rediff to give this opportunity to convey our feelings towards our dear star. I would also like to say that Shahrukh and Gauri make a wonderful pair and I like Gauri a lot b'coz of her simplicity. Must say she is a perfect wife and I m sure she too has a big hand in the humility which Shahrukh has inspite of being such a Big Star. I wish their childrens also grow up to be wonderful human beings.
