Ram Bhakta Hanumanji the ideal devotee of Shri Ram
by Dr. Ashish Urkude on Oct 22, 2005 12:02 PM

I feel very sorry about the to much rationality that is revolutionizing the world. The values are disappearing.
Mine is the last generation who knows \"Hanuman Chalisa\" it seems.
People have started calling Hanumanji as \"Hanumaaan\" like \"Superman\" and they laugh. Many seniors feel Pity of them. Anyhow, let the new generation know who Hanumanji is.
Let them know the devotion towards god, ram and the values of the sacrifices through this Ramayana character.
Kindly remember, all the characters in Ramayana are very \"IDIAL\" and Mahabharata are Practical. At home you must be ideal and at outside world you must be practical is what these both epics predict.
Let me know. As these are the thoughts since generations in India. Since happening of Ramayana around 9,25,000 years ago and after happening of Mahabharata a 5000 years ago.
Is there anybody listening/ reading this?
Hanumanji issue raises idealism, ethics, practicalism, and discipline in life and devotion in life at every moment.
Let me know.

Good review!
by Pankaj on Oct 22, 2005 09:46 AM

Dear Reviewer,

your review is good and convincing. Lard Hanuman is the most adorned one in India. U are right to say that his stories are ageless and can bound any person irrespective of his age and class unless untill the person has not some prsudices for hindu culture and our gods. However times you have read ramcharitmanas, however times u go through those pure and secred stories, they never loose their attraction and next time they appear more interesting and bounding. These are perpetual.
Thanks

Pankaj

Good Effort

Hope more of such animation films are made. This is one department where we lack behind the west. Hanuman is a must see. It's a very good film and we should appreciate
this different effort.
Baby Hanuman looks really cute. Kudos to the graphics designer.

The movie is fabulous. It is not only targeting kids but it is for all. Those who want to know more about The Great Hanuman. I really liked the graphics also. Good efforts. But we need to do lot of improvement in terms of graphics which I am sure we will do.

Overall good entertainer and lot of knowledge.

Hanuman's Gurj shown on floor
by Aneesh Chawla on Oct 21, 2005 09:49 PM

Lord Hanuman is known for his powers in his arms and Angad was known for his powers in legs. That is why, the gurj (Hanuman's weapon) is always shown on hanuman's shoulders and Gurj for Angad is shown down on Earth. In both the pictures shown in the articles, the way Gurj is shown does not match with the natural photographs of Hanuman.

Hanuman

Great!
I liked the review of the film Hanuman.
I'm in the west part of the world, North America.
I feel we need more and more such movies for the sack of next generation as well the present one.
I see the recent Bollywood movies, I'm from Bombay and I feel disgusting...
What message we as Indians are giving to our children and to the rest of the world, by making third grade movies!
Even I feel our younger generation in India, in some part of India, are being mislead by our movies.
In such a period of time movies like Hanuman are perfect.
Bravo!!!!!!

Amazing Hanuman
by Nidhi on Oct 21, 2005 05:46 PM

since the time when i first read anything about The Ramayan, one character which is very close to my heart is that of Hanuman. Its very interesting for me to watch anything which has my favorite character in it. specialy the kid hanuman looks sooooo sweet and cute that u instantly want to go to theatre and watch this movie. moreover when the movie is animated. Its a good fun to go and watch it better than the other movies , at last a sigh of relief for the box office.

Hanuman

Well I dont think the director has a non-Indian in mind while telling the story, and that is very pragmatic. And if these questions "Like what is Lord Ram in an exile for? Why did Ravan abduct Sita? What insult is he speaking of? Who is Narad? Who is Indra?" are too basic for even an Indian toddler.
Besides why will somebody who doesnt know this, will go watch the moview for?
