Pure Marketing!

All that was shown was pure marketing, nothing else. Many programmes like this have come, many bands have come.interesting part is,each and every band who has come thru these channels have just whipped off.S5,VIVA are one of those bands.still,i wish qazi and ruprekha for a bright career ahead.

its unjustice for rex
by kaushik thakurata on Oct 22, 2005 03:14 PM

congratulations to qazi and ruprekha for atlast winning this prestigious honour.but its a reality that rex is much better singer than qazi.its true that he lacks the style and dont wear the fashionable outfits like qazi and dont have the attitude.but this is not the main criteria to win a title regarding music.qazi managed the supports only by his looks, attitudes and showing sentiments.ruprekha deserved it because she is a steady performer throughout the contest.last but not the least,i must say that rex in future will become a famous singer in bollywood.

qazi and ruprekha----they do not rock!!!
by Sanket Gupta on Oct 22, 2005 12:47 PM

according to me ,best choice would have been qazi and rex. they would have created dhamaal and would have sung some rocking numbers like dus bahane etc... i really am not satisfied with results.plus sony kept it going till 11 pm .. it could have been over in half an hour ..

Fame Jodi

Though I have watched a number of episodes of Fame Gurukul. It was always Rex who was worth watching & listening to. Am surprised by the singing talent( or rather the absence of it)of Qazi, who made it to the end. Reminds me of Ravinder Ravi who was G8 when signing Punjabi Folksy numbers but was absolute out of depth when signing regular songs. As for the oft used term ' Guys you people are rock stars ' by various celebrities sadly, they do not have the experience what the Term Rock Star actually conveys. Guys you should have cheked out 'Rock Star-INXS' on Star World. Compared to the talents seen & heard on 'Saregama Challenge 2005 ' Fame Jodi is like a Amby to a thoroghbred Merc

Quazi Ruprekha Fame Jodi
by Pat on Oct 21, 2005 08:37 PM

Voters selected the qazi . But I am not satisfied with this decision. I think he is only selected on the basis of his look and dress. It is ok for young and collegians.

This competiton is held for singing purpose. So i think Rex Dsouza is good and admirable voice. That why first preference to be given to him while selecting on Fame Jodi. He must be given good chance and single singer. if it possible.

Now what can be done.

it is ok .

Sorry to put my remark late

If I heart anybody feeling. pl. forgive me.

actually I do not want to heart anybody.

I write what i feel.

thanks.

Quazi was the wrong choice
by Shivnarayan R. Varma on Oct 21, 2005 05:48 PM

I think peoples in India are not matured enough to vote sensibly. Quazi was totally the wrong choice. Rex and Ruprekhs would have been the much better choice.
