very good actor he was...!!!! Am from ANDHRA PRADESH..I got seat in madurai,tamilnadu.i was very new to that city and to that language.but i dare to watch one tamil movie i.e Kaakha...Kaakha...!!!..What a movie it was.and the movie is very clear and expressive.even i dont know the language,but i know wht the meant of that movie becoz of surya performance really wonderful experience it was. after that AM GOING TO BE A DIE HARD FAN OF SURYA....and i watched that movie more than 13 times.not only this his later films pitamagan,pearalagan....etc..and now ghajini....fentastic surya ....and i thnk to rediff to give this oppurtunity to express my feelings...
Yes, I quite agree that Surya is a transformed actor now. I was amazed by his suave performance in the film "Kaakha Kaakha". I remember seeing a film called "Naerukku Naerru" some 10 years back and his acting and dancing looked so poor that I thought he would fade away in a year or so, but guess he has proved me wrong !
