shahrukh khan might be star, but he is a poor actor at best. in fact some of his so called 'big performances' are extremeply pathetic for eg devdas, kabhi khushi kabhi gum etc. in fact he was so bad in devdas that he turned that role into a comic role with his histrionics.
secondly, comparing him to someone like amitabh bachhan is sacrilage! honestly, can we even THINK about them in the same breadth?
All in all a shoddy and crappy article which i feel Shahrukh has put in through his agent kabeer!
I have been seeing many articles about SRK, I think he still has to prove himself on the variety of roles he can do. He certainly has self-doubts on the kind of roles he can enact especially if you see the choice of roles he had in the last few years. SRK sticks to certain roles only and its a matter of time he finds it difficult to cultivate on these for long time, especially the commercial success of it will be difficult to come by.
it used to be in the days of emperors that they used to hire people to write about them, praise them and make them a real hero...laloo yadav still makes these guys ministers in bihar...and now mr srk, who has always been manipulating film reporters and critics to praise him even after some of the most miserable performances and limited knowledge of acting, has hired this totally unknown, great lover of Indian cinema to portray all what he does to fool the general public, great going,
with a non conventional good looks, he is man aspired by audience of all age group.He is adorable .His ease to espress all kinds of expressions and emotions is commmandable .
