All for sappy endings...

I loved Pride and Prejudice, but I wondered why it ended so abruptly when I watched it. After I discovered this final scene with Elizabeth and Darcy at Pemberly, I felt it gave the movie move closure.
True, it was more of a typical happy-Hollywood ending, but it IS a romantic movie.
If it\'s been cut out of the movie, then AT LEAST put it in as a special feature in the DVD release.

Don't care if it's cheesy or sugary...

All I care is that it's so very sweet and ofcourse full of mush! Couldn't help drooling all over Mr. Darcy, my all time favorite hero.

Though not completely true to the book it's adapted from, this movie can be forgiven for the treatment of it's characters. One thing worth mentioning is the characters look their ages. Like, Knightly is more convincing as Lizzie than Ehle who played the same role in 90's BBC mini series. And of course Lydia, Jane, Wickham, Charles Bingley, Caroline Bingley... all of them. And of course Mr. Darcy too!

There's something about Matthew Macfayden that's really cute and you can't help empathizing with his character... WOW!

A real nice treat!!!

Now this is what I would call a real convincing adaptation of Pride and Prejudice!
