hi i've recently watched harry potter & goblet of fire which is very good movie. voldemort alives in this part. the movie has awesome special effects.it is reality that "dark and difficult times lie ahead."
I did not like the movie much. Of course the special effects are spectacular, but there are some major letdowns. Examples:
1. Dumbledore: He is supposed to be the coolest adult in the film. Here he behaves like a hyperactive executive trying to meet a deadline. The scene where he catches Harry by the collar and asks him if he has indeed put the name in the goblet, takes the cake in stupidity!
2. Flavor of the movie: There is a distinct effort to make the movie fit for toddlers, which reduces the impact by a factor of 10. So Moody makes faces, Bertie Crouch's tongue keeps coming in and out, the visiting schools enter Hogwarts, not like guests but like acrobats....ad infinitum. I think the director has underestimated children.
3. Editing: This leaves a lot to be desired and many sequences do not follow logically at all. eg. Harry is debriefed by Dumbledore after the latter gives his farewell address to the school... yaaak!
4. Lack of even necessary explanations: How did Bertie Crouch Jr. come out of Azkaban undetected, why did the wands join during the graveyard duel...etc.
Overall: Could have been much better Change director and script writer in OOP.
Just fabulous to watch. Most details have been included. Some have been altered but what has been shown has compensated for it. Its really the book come alive. Harry, Ron and Hermione were greeat. Cedric ...ooh really good looking. Wish he hadn't died :(
The scene where fred adn george cross the age line is very well taken :D
best harry potter movie yet. Daniel radcliffe, rupert, and emma's performances was the best ever and was really great and real. These actors have really come a long way. The movie was the best balance of comedy, suspense and drama. This director is a keeper. This was the best movie yet in the ewntire harry potter series. Even adults, teenagers and kids liked it. The movie was perfect. Even though some things in the movie were different from the book due to a need to shorten the time, the book still lived up to its expected harry potter greatnest.
