I personally feel that Indian idol is all about chasing dreams. Many people in this world have myriad talents. I have come across a number of doctors who could never resist the temptation of breaking into a song, some also coudn't resist dancing with it. I have come across a few lawyers who could brilliantly perform on a stage totally different than the courtrooms.
All of us believe taht we do have atleast one special talent that has been untapped. We get stuck in the everyday rigmarole of putting bread and milk on the table. I am glad that shows like Indian idol givesan opportunity to atleast some of us to unleash that untapped talent. There are a lot of people out thete who believe that this program is minting money at the expense o the pipe dreams of the contestants. I think most of them miss the point. I am very sure that all the nine contestants who lost out to Abhijit Sawant would be much more prepared to take on the hard journey of life with a lot more vigour and passion than they would have otherwise.
