Very good work Dinesh. You seem know an awful lot about Indian cinema. As my friend rk have commented, you do write very well. I mean, knowing is different and putting it in words is different. All those shelved films and forth coming films, his relation with other actors/ actresses, his struggle, his stardom....my god..awesome research. More than anyone, Abhishek has to thank you for introducing the real 'him' to people. About the article, yes ilike him very much. It is very difficult for any actor like Abhishek to prove himself because he was under such a big shelter as Amithabh Bachchan. People just cannot see him as a separate entity, atleast for sometime. So it is extremely difficult for actors in this category when compared to all other actors. But now is the time to think and think wise. He should not sign every tom dick & harry's movie. He should be very careful about selections because each movie he picks will make or break his career. I was always waiting for this day where Abhishek Bachchan is just Abhishek Bachchan. What else can he ask for, when he is recognized as himself against his father? I knew he is good. He is damn good. Remember - His films failed not him.
good article... well written... it really shows how junior B came up despite a lot of obstacles he seemed to face... he's an actor with a lot of charisma now...
