He fought for his son too
by s on May 30, 2005 03:23 AM

He always tried to teach others but could not teach his own kid to behave. He used his position to protect his son, TADA is gone because there was no other way to get sanjay dutt out of jail, where he rightly belongs for breaking the law. I Guess this is how india function. If father is a politician sons will keep on doing crime. I wonder what sanjay datt will do now. He himself will join politics or go to jail for his relation with chota shakeel. I hope people have not forgotten about the tape, where he (sanjay dutt) was talking to chota shakeel. Then also suneel dutt protected his son.

I think that we have lost india`s greatest and nicest soul. Mr.Dutta will always remains in our heart when we talk abt great politican and actor..Most amezing thing about him is that he being a such powerfulman , never miss used his power for his own gain and always put his hands forward to help out people.I think we have lost most clean politician India ever produced.

At least he did not start a Rath yatra to garner votes which eventually killed thosands of Indians.
He was above all an honest man, a rare breed among todays politicians.

sunil dutt - a charismatic personality
by K.V.VINOD on May 28, 2005 09:38 AM

He deserved much more than that and it is sad that his own party for which he served so long and stood by it in terms of crisis - e.g. emergency period ditched him by taking his arch rival into its fold inspite of his reservation. The fact that he was a peoples person was amply visible by the fact that so many people had come to give their last respects to their beloved leader. But I feel he was lucky that he didn't have to undergo much pain and hospitalization during his last few moments unlike others. He was a genius, a true patriot , a people's man ,and the son of the soil . He would be remembered for a long time to come.

by Syed Makhdoom on May 28, 2005 02:22 AM

Sunil Dutt was one Indian I was proud to look at and I admired him as a great individual. his death is a loss to humanity.
I lost my father a few years and was shocked and pained by his demise and I feel the same shock at Dutt sahib's death.
He shall always be alive in my heart.
