Krishna's letter
by Avelino Mendonca on Jun 01, 2005 05:23 PM

Mr. Krishna,

You are insulting a greatman Mr. Sunil Dutt by reading about him and calling boring. Mr. Sunil Dutt is not only an actor, he is an MP and a sports minister. I think you south indian must be staying in Burma or you are not reading any national newspapers only those junk south indian newspapers. Everyone in Asia and Gulf countries talk about Hindi cinema's. You South Indians are only pushing your language but you can never be successful and go ahead than Hindi cinema. Ask a Pakistani, Bangladeshi,Afghani,Arabs and they all know who Shahrukh Khan is, they don't know you southindian stars. So wake up and don't be biased for Hindi cinema, after english is the best.

When I heard Shatruji talking about the deputy Minister's post for Dattasab,"as any other seasoned potitician, he could have rejected it"as felt by his close colleagues", having won the prestigious constituency five times .
A great man, he did not do so.

No doubt, a great person
by Ahmed Mohammed on May 28, 2005 02:39 PM

There is no doubt that Sunil Dutt Saab was a great person, but the best feature about him was his ability to attract all races and be honest to his job as a politician and a public servant. You cant single out a person in Indian politics who is as noble and sincere in his efforts to serve people of all religions and ages. As its said, nice and pious people dont live a long life on earth. May The Almighty rest him in peace. Aameen...

Sunilji-my dearest ,favourite

It was a wonder when I saw him in his thirties coming to my college, St.Albert's , Ernakulam with Principal, Rev.Father Xavier Kaniampurath.
Why he is here I wondered,Rosy faced tall handsome with a lovely charming face.
Principal spoke on that occasion that they were together in a flight after Father returned back from Geneva for the Principal's conference.
He was invited by the Principal and he came to inaugurate the Arts and Dramatic Club of the college .
During his speech he spoke about few things in addition to our heritage, and pointed out at the the back side among the spectators in the hall of the college.
"there is a lungi clad man standing behind, he should come and be with me on the stage."
None noticed it and Suniji said "in front of him I will not be able to say much, for, here is a person who really sensed the plulse of the people, common man " He had a plan to film one of his Novels -Chemmeen.
We requested him to come forward. It was none other than Jnanpeeth Awardee Thakazhi Sivasankara pIllai.
This great actor later turned to common man ,social work and clean plolitics.
Winning five times,Sunil Saab in a Deputy in Ministry was due to his greatness.
