I am sorry to note this. In my opinion, showcasing this type of movies to already biased US/International community, will do more harm to India's image, than bring any laurels.

We come across real cases where Indians had fake degrees, and false claims of professional of experience to gain jobs in the US. Also employers/people in the US already dissatisfied that their jobs are going to India. There are cases where employers do not value real research experience in India on par with US experience.

Having read the reviews Indian english movies here, the critics with half knowledge about India, will equate situations in movies to reality.

Even when Lagaan was nominated for Oscar, I remember on the live presentation on TV, when the announcement of the nominated movies was being made, the clipping shown was a song-dance sequence, than a a scene depicting the central theme of the movie. For all other international movies (some about refugee problem etc.) the sequences shown were really good and convencing. Even though, Lagaan was good and deserving, audience create impression out of the 30 second clipping !!

But who cares for all this !!

Mera Bharat Mahaan !

Munnabhai is very much inspired from "Patch Adams". It is not the pride of India.

Don't ask me why 20th century bought the rights... they are crazy or this is all a whole lot of bull as usual. you know how aishwarya is in next bond movie and aamir has list of roles lined up. Aankhen is being made with Robert De niro etc.. etc.. etc....
