I wanted to see what people thought of coming to America. If they stayed back in U.S do they feel they made the right choice? Or if they went back do they feel that was a better choice. Being an NRI this topic always causes me dilemma and I wonder if there are people out there like me who keep thinking about going back to India and are not able to or have gone back and feel good about their choice?
i think a movie going strong for 10 years speaks for itself........2 this day i'd rather watch ddlj in a cinema hall than anyother movie of 2day... the best thing is that you keep having the wry smile on your face through most part of the movie...kajol-srk pair was (and is) 2 cool....... i watched the movie loads of times and still can't get enough of it.. 3 cheers to srk,kajol anf ofcourse aditya
DDLJ was a trend setter in many ways..the movie, the songs,the actors.Whenever I watch this movie,I get goosebumps. kajol is natural..Though SRK was hamming away happily..yet this movie is different mainly because of the way it was presented.The beautiful screenplay,dialouges,locales and the Ultimate Indian Family having Indian values and ofcourse very good publicity. The songs especially weave such a magic that whenever I hear these songs my eyes get tht dreamy look and I get lost in the mesmering voice of Lataji and Udit Narayan. "Mere khwabon mein jo aaye"this beautiful song plays in every young girl's mind who is waiting for her hero to come into her life.People who fall in love and realise it for the first time..their heart sings.."Na jaane mere dil ko kya hogaya" Oh sooo many movies made after DDLJ tried to present this same story and failed miserably looking as cheap copies. Maybe Aditya Chopra never thought this movie would be such a huge hit..but it was released at a right time..just like Maine Pyar Kiya. Though DDLJ had many similarities with MPK..like rich spoilt brat, young innocent girl, dialouges repeating..but wat takes DDLJ a step above??Pyar hota hai deewana sanam!
