Hi Dear sir why dont you name the forthcoming movie "HULKA PHULKAA". As your producer is supersticious then let him have this name, which shares light and soft moments
"The film is about a dead man winning a lottery, and the entire village tries to hide it and get that money." He says it is a new subject.....every thing he said about it in this interview is from the beautiful Irish movie Waking Ned Devine Priyan is wonderful technician and good at adapting movies...but hes houldn't say he is making a new movie...when he just adapsts it. Even the camera angles are excatly same as the originals.
The idea of making films for the society is really superb. That too in a position of being able to do the commercial films, taking such a decison is really wonderful by retiring from the commercial films.
We are eagerly waiting for the remake of the movie- Talavattom because it was a wonderful movie. When I watch the movie, as a child i cried a lot.Even when listening the songs, there is pain in my heart, unknown pain. That was excellent. I remember the story even after so may years.
"Don't Miss the second part of this exclusive interview tomorrow, where Priyadarshan chats about films and Mohanlal."
What happened??? Does tommorrow never comes? The article is written on March 29 and today is Apr. 1. We are waiting for the second part, especially on his thoughts on Mohanlal.
We are eagerly waiting to see the film. When is the planned release?
We would have loved to see Shah Rukh in the role, but as explained, it is understandable. Bad luck Shahrukh. You missed a classic opportunity. This film would have made your best ever remembered film, like Mohanlal is still remembered for this role. Best of luck Salman.
Dear Priyadarsan, don't retire. If you retire, it will not be easy to come back. If you watch Mohanlal finding it hard to comeback(fortunately he is coming back in style). What happened to Mohanlal was that he was thinking negatively in the name of all philosophies.
However, that doesn't prevent you from preparing for your dream movies. Make it side by side. If you make a very good art film by side of commercial film, the art film film get a lot more audience than otherwise. More than awards, the opinion of people is also to be considered.
Why not remake the Muskurat with a more impressive pair? It may look crazy. But, if properly planned and released, It may hit the bull's eye.
i have seen most of ur movies ...all the superb ...i just cannot forget the movie kala pani ...it was awesome ...it grt to see a south indian director shining in bollywood ...good luck in future ...
There is ample scope for remaking one of your long forgotten movie called "Cheppu" in hindi... as it has all the necessary ingredients of being a surefire hit... and the hero role will suit well to anil or jackie your alltime favourites..
